Biography
Nathan Thompson recently started pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Sociology at USU after completing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability at BYU. While at BYU, Nathan participated in the interdisciplinary Nepal brick kiln project and led efforts to study the natural components of the system, such as soil and water quality. Since graduating, he has been working on projects to address various issues facing Great Salt Lake.
Outside of school, Nathan enjoys being outside and experiencing the world through outdoor recreation. He hopes to someday be able to combine his passion for recreation and his interests in studying the natural environment in a way that helps others experience the world and gain a desire to protect it too.
He is a part of the Nepal Brick Kiln Community Development project.
